Empire Realty Services - Does Not Pass Muster

Our tireless Aimfair Member Scam Investigator uncovered another bogus company to be aware of. The person he spoke with was very engaging, in fact so much so that our investigator implored her to seek an honest job. Of course his suggestion was not acted upon, at least as far as he knows.

The empirerllc.com domain is only 112 days old. Here is what we found on whois.domaintools.com:

Dates 122 days old
Created on 2021-11-12
Expires on 2022-11-12
Updated on 2021-11-12

Although the creation date for an existing domain could be renewed and show a short use period, it is not likely. Therefore, we choose to believe this company is not legitimate.

Following are the comments from our Aimfair Investigator:

Hi Bob

Hope that all is well.

I caught another one yesterday.

This one took me awhile to catch as everything was checking out at first (e.g. New York state license, Clabe Bank Number, URL history) – but of course I knew it was a scam.

They kept calling me even after they said they would take a pass if I did not pay for the Mexican Tax ID.

I ended up talking to what seemed to be a nice young lady, Donna White, who said she was from Wisconsin. So we had a nice chat about the Green Bay Packers, and my boyhood idol, Vince Lombardi.

She assured me that her and Empire Realty were legitimate.

I wasn’t able to get ahold of the property manager at first after calling a few tenants in the building. I was finally able to get ahold of the holding company that owns the building, who gave me the phone number and name of the property manager – who confirmed that Empire Realty is not a tenant in the building.

I’m hoping that Donna White quits her job and finds honest work – that alone would have been worth the time I spent on this one.

Ms. Delgado states that Empire Realty Services is NOT a tenant at 524 Broadway – and that the fifth floor of the building is occupied by only one tenant.

I can only presume from your non response to my email that my suspicions are correct. That Empire Realty Services is operating as a scam.

I’m very disappointed as I thought at first that you were being honest. However, when neither you or Emily could tell me that 524 Broadway is in the Soho district, I became suspicious.

You seem like a nice person. I hope that you are not cheating honest people who have worked hard for their money.

I suggest you find a job where you can make an honest living.

This is another great example of nice people trying to take your money. They are outstanding sales people who do not give up. Please do your diligence and be very careful!

Even people you might want to befriend are there to take your money. Remember - Scammers do not feel they are doing anything wrong. They only take money sent to them by their targets. Don't send them money!!
