We bacame acquainted with the The Grand Luxxe Residence Club in 2007 and have watched its offering expand. The Grand Luxxe Villa was just a concept then.Now, Grand Luxxe Residence Club members have access to more than ten primary floor plans of luxurious and spacious accommodations. Members gain access to them by purchasing "prepaid vacation contracts", or "Right To Use" contracts. Such contracts detail the terms under which members can access units and facilities at Sister Resorts, over defined periods of time.
In 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 the American Automobile Association honored one of its seven locations, the Grand Luxxe Riviera Nayarit, by awarding it a AAA Five Diamond designation. The Grand Luxxe Riviera Nayarit is the first membership resort to receive such a designation. The Grand Luxxe Riviera Maya has also been honored with a AAA Five Star designation as well. Both very high honors in recognition of outstanding service and facilities.

The Estates
Three floor plans and four configurations make up member options in the Estates. This division is so new, Vidanta Management has not released the final configuration.It is known, though that the most luxurious of the units will be the Four BR Estates. This will be a two story, Loft syle unit with a Master Bedroom and primary living area on the lower floor and the other bedrooms located on the second foor.
The other configurations include a One BR Estates, a Two BR Estates, and then a Three BR Estates by combining the One BR with the Two BR uints.
Buildings may be comprised of a mixture of the three basic units. Nothing is firm yet. Construciton is underway in Nuevo Vallarta and Riviera May. There may also be Estates units in East Cape in Baja California.

Floor Plan
Residence Floor Plans are Unique - Each unit spans from the front deck, with westerly views to the bedroom decks with easterlay views. There are only four units on each floor. Guests in each unit have the exclusive use of the Rooftop Pool, which is a lap-type pool that has the best veiw on the property. The pool area also has a restaurant. In addition to the convenience of having a pool on the roof of the tower, the golf pro shop is located on the ground floor of the Residence Tower.The Residence Tower
The Residence Tower is nine stories tall and has a rooftop pool for Residence Tower guests only. The tower is south and slightly east of Towers 4 A and 4B, which are called the SPA Towers. The tower furthest east of both the SPA Towers and The Residence Tower is Tower Five.The Residence Tower is located at the center of future activity. The Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus golf courses are accessed from the Golf Pro Shop, which is on the ground floor of the Residence Tower. Taxis will be hailed from Tower Five, which is now under construction and will be the first point of entry or exit from the property. The future has much in store.
The entrance to the SPA Tower is not far from the entrance to The Residence Tower. The SPA Tower, Residence Tower and Tower Five appear to be the future center of the property and offer easiest access to and exit from off campus locations.

The Residence Tower units have commanding, unobstructed views of the ocean, the Bird Sanctuary, Marina Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta and points further south.
The lagoon that surronds the SPA Tower pools is an attractive feature and improves the views from Residence Tower decks. The lagoon and related waterway extends all the way to the beach.
This view of the Residence Tower is from the walkway that runs between the East SPA Tower and the SPA Tower Pools. The Kiddie's Club and SPA Pools are close by. This view of the Residence Tower shows the location of the pool and kids facilities, even though the units closest to the river are still under construction.
Rooftop Pool - Commanding View and Exclusivity
The Rooftop Pool is located on the top floor of the Residence Tower and is accessible to all residence in the tower. Elevators in the Residence Tower may stop between the roof and ground levels and access units in between. Therefore, use of the pool is limited to only those guests who are staying in the building at any given time. The pool offers a very quiet, serene environment in which to enjoy a wonderful vacation.Only guests of the Residence Tower may use the Rooftop Pool on the top floor of the Residence Tower.

SPA Towers - Nuevo Vallarta
The SPA Towers are immediately north west of the Residence Tower and the last two towers that line the banks of the Ameca River. SPA Suites are located only on floors five through nine in the two SPA Towers (Towers 4 A and 4 B). These are the floors immediately above the Loft Residences, which are on the third floor of Towers 3 and 4.SPA Tower B (Tower 4B) - SPA 3 Bedroom Suites are the exterior units and the SPA 2 Bedroom Suites are the interior units. SPA Tower A (Tower 4 A) is to the left in the above photo.

SPA Tower B (Tower 4B) - is the last tower in the row of towers that extend along the river and have a similar architectural design.
The angles of the SPA Towers (Tower 4A and 4B) and Towers 3A and 3B are such that one series of towers cannot be seen from the other.
SPA Building - Riviera Maya
The SPA Building in Rivera Maya is the same, unique architecture as the Luxxe Buildings (Buildings One and Two). That is, they are triangular in shape and three stories tall. The SPA 3 Bedroom units are on the outside corners of each floor and the SPA 2 Bedroom units are between the corner units. Four units are on each floor - two are SPA 3 Bedroom Suites and two are SPA 2 Bedroom Suites. There is a total of 36 units in the SPA Building (Building 3).Group Vidanta’s Riviera Maya property has two distinct areas: The Resort and the Cirque du Soleil theater. The Luxxe Buildings are located along the southern border of the property. They are the triangular, three story, flat roofed buildings that appear on the right side of the photo.
The entry to each Luxxe Building is the same. Note that the building entrance is an apex of the building’s triangular shape.
Guests may use golf cart trains to move about the property, and carts pick up guests in front of each Luxxe Building. The service is perfect for those who are unable or don't care to walk. Others can walk the elevated walkways, which are fun too.

The interior area within the triangular space of each building is largely jungle and a natural setting.
Entrances to each Luxxe Building are open and airy. The design of each Luxxe Building helps make guests feel they are staying in a small, intimate resort.

The reception area is beautiful and inviting. The elevated walkways traverse the entire property, and the entrance to reception building is a good indicator of what is in store for guests.

The Punta Tower - Nuevo Vallarta
The Punta Tower is the only location to find Presidential Master Villa Suites. This tower is located on Grupo Vidanta’s Nuevo Vallarta’s property. It is the closest tower to the beach and is known as the “Point”. The Punta Tower is popular tower because there are only 14 three bedroom units in the tower. It is also a favorite because it is closest to the beach of all the towers on the property. Although it is not for everyone, the Punta Tower has a great reputation for being a place to spend a vacation at least once.The Punta Pools are very popular and just outside the building. Always a fun place to cool down and enjoy gathering with friends.
Below the pools and toward the beach, there is a popular place to enjoy the ocean view and be on the point of the property.
Dawn at the Punta Pools is a magical time. The sun is not yet up, and the lights are on. The Punta Lagoon is quiet and reflective.
Decks on the end of the Punta Tower offer wonderful places to enjoy views of the ocean all points north and south.
The Punta Tower is the closest tower to the beach. Yet it is close to Towers One and Tower Two. It is the most conveniently located pool on the property.
The Punta Tower is the closest tower to the beach of all. It is an easy and fun walk on the beach to the end, which is about a mile long. In between are stretches of lush vegitation and plenty of pools to stop and enjoy.

The pools by the Punta Tower are just outside the building, on the westerly side, between the tower and the beach. These pools are very popular and available to all Luxxe Members. Luxxe Villa Master Suite
The Luxxe Villa Master Suite is made up of two separate units, that when used together make up a 2 bedroom unit. The separate units are a Luxxe Villa Suite, which is a 1 bedroom suite with a kitchen and a Luxxe Jr. Villa, which offers a second bedroom plus a small living room. In addition, the Jr. Villa has a small refrigerator, microwave oven and blender for use in the unit. Floor plans for units in Nuevo Vallarta and Riviera Maya are mostly the same.
Luxxe Towers - Nuevo Vallarta
All towers in Nuevo Vallarta have Luxxe Villas and Luxxe Suite Condos in them.Towers One and Two contain only Luxxe Villas and Luxxe Suite Condos. Towers 3 A and 3 B also have Luxxe Villa and Luxxe Suite Condos on all floors except the third floor, which is devoted to the two story Loft Residences. This is a view of the third towers to open, which are called Luxxe Tower 3 A and 3 B. The view is from the elevated walkway that leads from the Santuario. These two towers represent the first of two sets of towers with changed architectural design. The oversized third floor is where the Luxxe Loft Residences are located.

Luxxe Villa Master Suites and Luxxe Master Suite Condos are located in Luxxe Buildings (Buildings One and Two). These are triangular in shape and three stories tall. The Luxxe Villa Master Suites are on the outside corners of each floor and the Luxxe Master Suite Condo units are between the corner units. Four units are on each floor - two are Villa Master Suites and two are Master Suite Condo units. There are 36 units in each of Buildings One and Two.Group Vidanta’s Riviera Maya property has two distinct areas: The Resort and the Cirque du Soleil theater. The Luxxe Buildings are located along the southern border of the property. They are the triangular, three story, flat roofed buildings that appear on the right side of the photo.
The entry to each Luxxe Building is the same. Note that the building entrance is an apex of the building’s triangular shape.
Guests may use golf cart trains to move about the property, and carts pick up guests in front of each Luxxe Building. The service is perfect for those who are unable or don't care to walk. Others can walk the elevated walkways, which are fun too.

Then, there are the pools by the Punta Tower, which are just outside the building, on the westerly side, between the tower and the beach. These pools are very popular and available to all Luxxe Members. Luxxe Master Suite (Condo) Floor Plan
The Luxxe Master Suite (Condo) is made up of two separate units, that when used together make up a 2 bedroom unit. The separate units are a Luxxe Suite (Condo) 1 bedroom suite and a Luxxe Master Room, which is a hotel-like room. Floor plans for units in Nuevo Vallarta and Riviera Maya are the same.

All towers in Nuevo Vallarta have Luxxe Villas and Luxxe Suite Condos in them.Towers One and Two contain only Luxxe Villas and Luxxe Suite Condos. This close-up view shows the construction taking place on the eastern end of Tower Five at Vidanta's property in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. It looks like a transition tower to another new building. Stay tuned....
This photo shows the two story Luxxe 1 BR Loft Residences under construction. These units take up two floors, the sixth and seventh for one group of 20 units and the eight and ninth floors for the second group of 20 units. They will be luxurious and spacious for a lucky couple or a family of two adults and one or two children. The children would sleep on the trundle beds under the couch. The baths are on the first and second floors.

The ends of the building are located on the western and eastern sides. This photo shows the construction process that closes in the ends of Tower Five, and the photo shows the two story configuration of the Luxxe 1 BR Loft Residences, which are located on floors six and seven and eight and nine in Tower Five. It also shows what appears to be the shaping of the rooftop pool on the 10th floor.

Type of Ownership - Right To Use Contracts
All timeshare units sold through Vida Vacation Club are "right to use" contracts that define the buyers rights. In essence, the contacts are prepaid vacations.Such contracts are sold to individuals who are members of other Grupo Vidanta resort brands (Grand Bliss, Grand Mayan, Bliss, Mayan Palace and Sea Garden) as upgrades or to individuals who are not already members of any Grupo Vidanta resort brands. Terms of these contracts may vary, depending upon the season, year and other non-disclosed factors.
Use defined in the contract may be once a year, once every other year, during different times of the year or more than once a year. The rights to use contracts can define weeks of use of single units or multiples of units, depending on the buyer's needs and ability to pay.
Grupo Vidanta International Sales now operates under the name of Vida Vacation Club. This organization creates many ways to configure offers to sell Lodging Rights agreements to prospective buyers. Generally, in addition to identifying the Member's names, the agreements specify the type of unit, registration numbers, Classification and Type of use.
Addenda specify additional benefits buyers may negotiate to include in their Lodging Rights agreements and can be valuable.
