Century 21 Fractional Ownership

We all get calls from unwanted solicitors telling us they have buyers or renters for out contract and weeks. One is called Century 21 Fractional Ownership. Our intreped investigator has uncovered the truth about Century 21 Fractional Ownership.

Bottom line: It is not only not part of the well known and respected Century 21 real estate agency, but it also appears to be a scam. Consider the following:

However, it is not so much that I have a complaint – my main question is whether this office is a legitimate and bona fide Century 21 office.
 
Please see attached email and PDF document that I received from this office.
 
The address of this office in Cancun, Mexico is as follows:
                     
Can you please confirm and advise if this is a duly authorized Century 21 office – as they have made me an offer to rent my timeshare weeks.  So I would like to know if they are legitimate before I commence negotiation with this office.

Wire Fraud is Real.  Before wiring any money, call the intended recipient at a number you know is valid to confirm the instructions. Additionally, please note that the sender does not have authority to bind a party to a real estate contract via written or verbal communication.

Fractionals is not a valid CENTURY 21 brand in Mexico. Please do not make any business with them as we received others notifications from bad use of our trade mark under the name of Fractionals.
