The BON Luxury Entertainment Park | Vidanta Nuevo Nayarit | Managed by Vidanta World
Grupo Vidanta oversees a huge area of over 2,000 acres on the northern banks of the Ameca River in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, specifically in the area known as Nuevo Vallarta (now Nuevo Nayarit as of June 21, 2022). This region, not quite a town or village, stretches along the beach north of the Ameca River's mouth up to the Flamingos Hotel, with flexible boundaries.
Some of Vidanta's property is on the southern side of the Ameca River, next to the Boca de Tomates road, running parallel to the Puerto Vallarta International Airport runway. The main focus of development is on the river's northern side, bordered to the north by the village of Jarretaderas and to the south by man-made lakes, which act as flood abatement zones for the Ameca River.
Visitors reach the area via a 2-mile entry road from Highway 200 leading West to the beach resorts. They include the Mayan Palace, Grand Mayan, Grand Bliss, Grand Luxxe Residence Club and The Estates, all owned and operated by Grupo Vidanta and its affiliated companies. A notable addition to the beach and resort area is the Sky Dream Gondola, officially introduced at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in August 2021. This remarkable aerial people-moving system spans approximately 2 miles end to end and provides access to the BON Luxury Entertainment Park. In addition to the BON Luxury Entertainment Park on the West side of Highway 200 at the northern end of the Ameca River bridge, other theme parks are under development as well. The Sky Dream Gondola system consists of five stations, with Station #4 located at the entrance to VidantaWorld BON Luxury Entertainment Park Phase One.
Grupo Vidanta recently revealed its transformation into an Entertainment Development Company under the name of VidantaWorld, sparking speculation about the future development of resorts from raw land. Although specifics remain uncertain, VidantaWorld shall manage Phase One of the BON Entertainment Park sprawling over about 485 acres west of Highway 200 and additional parks east of Highway 200. Foreseeing multiple operators overseeing various concessions and venues within the parks, they will establish pricing while VidantaWorld oversees and manages the general operational conditions for operators and guests.
As we eagerly anticipate the evolution of properties into finished products, timeshare contract owners can witness the transformation in person. The BON Park is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Tickets are required. The price is currently 900 MP per person, with credits given for unused portions of the ticket price on the room bill to persons attending a sales presentation. Kingdom of the Sun reservations are also available. Subsequent phases will be unveiled as economic returns attract investment for the completion of diverse zones within the VidantaWorld Parks.
