This is what Grupo Vidanta told Forbes Life. Although the company had planned that the ship would raise anchors in the fall of 2019, the departure was postponed due to the incorporation of a new Rockwell Group team to finalize design details.
The works are focused on projecting the avant-garde and hospitality elements characteristic of Grupo Vidanta properties. In this regard, it is worth mentioning that the New York-based Rockwell Group intervened the renewal of Vidanta Los Cabos.
Vidanta Elegant has been projected as a masterpiece of privacy and exclusivity of 15,396 tons and 153 meters long. The first ship in the Vidanta Cruises fleet will feature 149 sumptuous cabins and suites with exterior views that aim to amaze travelers.
The cruise will have an immersive entertainment area, spa and gym, plus an exceptional pool on the upper deck and multiple hot tubs. It will also feature six public decks, lounge rooms, 11 bars and restaurants of different specialties.
With the purpose of creating incomparable dining experiences, Vidanta Elegant will have a menu designed by two world-renowned chefs: Eric Pansu, named the best chef in France, and Pascal Molines, recognized as the best pastry chef in France and world champion.
According to Grupo Vidanta, the amenities and services on board the cruise - designed for adults - will ensure an unprecedented level of luxury for the 298 passengers on board: a privileged capacity compared to the industry average of 2,300 passengers.
The level of service aims to be a reference in the global hospitality industry. Suffice it to say that there will be a personal concierge for each cabin in addition to a crew member to serve each passenger.
Although Vidanta Elegant travel itineraries are yet to be confirmed, Grupo Vidanta points out that the routes have been designed in detail to explore exclusive destinations, thus providing an authentic and intimate experience through Mexican traditions and culture on the most beautiful coastlines of the country.
With Vidanta Elegant, the group will become the first developer in Mexico that operates both on land and at sea.
