The Gondola Line starts in this building on the East side of Highway 200 and extends to the beach.

The Gondola Route and Views

January 14, 2020

"Gone-dough-lah" - the one Aimfair pronounces the wonderful new people mover system that Sales personnel say will be ready by "Winter, 2020". Most likely, that means December, 2020, but to some it could mean March, 2020. Regardless, it will be an enjoyable 2 mile ride from the Highway.

Following is an overview of what could be the route. There are some small zigs and zags between the station between the Residence Tower and Tower Five and the Santuario/Convention Center station. But those are relatively minor and the line will be straight. Contributions were made by John, Rita, Brian, Charles, Dale and Larry. Thank you all for sharing your terrific photos!

Here is what the Gondola route looks like from the air:

Based on current maps in the sales areas, the plan is for five stations:

Sation #1: East of Highway 200 in an area that is now under development.

The Sky Dream Gondola will extend from here to the Chiringuitos Restaurant at the Beach. Give your feedback by taking the one question poll in the Video. Fun stuff!

Station #2: The Park - The station is being built and may be next to or in the West side parking area in The Park. It appears to be about a half mile ride from Station #1, starting point to Station #2, in The Park.

Station #2 - Under construction near The Park Parking Area.

Station #2 - Architect's Rendering.

Station #3: The former Golf Bag Drop Area - between the Residence Tower and Tower Five. This station will serve the Luxxe Towers from 3 to 6 and the Residence Tower.

The former Golf Bag Drop Area may become Station #3.

The Gondola Line extends all the way to the other side of Highway 200 from this station.

January 7, 2018 - Roof of the Golf Bag Drop Area appears at the bottom of the photo and no Tower Six.

Station #4: The Santuario/Convention Center Station - Serving the Santuario, the Convention Center, the Grand Mayan and the Grand Bliss.

Station #5: The Beach - Next to Chiringuitos - The last stop, or the first stop, depending on your point of view.

The Beach Station is behind Chiringuitos and may be taken to different towers served by Stations #2 (Grand Mayan, Grand Bliss and Mayan Palace) and Station #3 (Luxxe Towers 3, 4, 5 and 6 and the Residence Tower).

The Gondola Line presence will be everywhere you walk:

Thank you to everyone who shared their images of changes taking place on Vidanta's property at Nuevo Vallarta. It will be fun watching everything evolve.....again!
