The Executive Golf Course - Update by Greg and Sue
March 18, 2017
Greg and Sue's vacation is nearly over. Before leaving, they wanted to update everyone on the status of the Par 3 Executive Golf Course. Everyone is waiting for this neat little course to open, and it looks as though more time must pass before it does. Maybe May or June.

Greg and Sue's Nuevo Update - March 20, 2016
They walked all the way around the course. Their photos provide a terrific feel for the course. The tour starts at the Tower Five (East) end of the course and proceeds counter clockwise around the course. It looks very challenging, and as Greg so aptly put it, the golf balls we use will have to float. At least that's the case for me....enjoy...!
Looking west from the Residence Tower end of the course, the east end and south side is still under development.
Walking toward the Santuario, we can see the north side of the course is quite green, and the east end is yet to be seeded.
Looking across the course from the Santuario side, the grass is well developed and the course is taking shape. Better hit the ball straight!
Looking east from the Plaza end of the course, we can get a feel for the need to carry the water. Nice looking tee box and just look at those inviting bunkers! See that bridge? We will be there in the next photo.
Here, we are on the bridge, looking back at the previous tee box. In front is the very nice green. Look at the walk way on the left. No laying up on this hole!! Lotta Watta and friendly bunkers!
Looking toward Tower Five A from the middle of the course, we can get a feel for the rest of the course. Grass is developing nicely and the view past the bridge in the previous photo shows how open the course is.
Greg is walking east toward Tower Five A and the Residence Tower. The bridge in the foreground is behind the rock wall in the previous phots. The course looks great from this vantage point.
This photo offers a view of another challenging shot. It is a westerly shot, down the channel and onto the green. Yes, the addage "Hit the ball long and straight" holds true on this beauty!
This vantage point is mid course and looking toward the Condo Towers on the right and Santuario on the left. The course opens up here, but there still is a lot of water.
What a fun course this will be! It will be perfect for practicing your irons and putter.
Thank you Greg and Sue. What a terrific update on what could be a very popular venue!
