Nuevo Vallarta Update - Greg's Photos
March 20, 2016
Tower 5 is under construction and being called Tower 5A by members visiting the property now. The designation comes from sales staff during sales presentations and recent property updates. From what we hear, there will be towers 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B, 7A, 7B, 8A, 8B and 9. These will spread to form two wing-like structures that will extend from Tower 5A and 5B. But then, that is sometime in the future.

Greg and Sue's Update - March 18, 2017
Here are Greg's photos and his video of the construction at the old entrance to the property:
Tower 5A as seen from the walkway near the Residence Tower and SPA Towers. Tower 5A will have 10 floors, with a large swimming pool on the 10th floor. It is clear now that the two story, Residence 1 BR Lofts occupy the 6th and 7th floors and 8th and 9th floors. Luxxe Studio Lofts will be located on floors One through Five. Interesting to see a new structure that looks like a taxi stand on the right side of the building.

North of Towers 3A and 3B and the SPA Towers are lagoons, the fate of which have been matters of speculation. The current indication from the Sales Department is the area will become an Executive Golf Course. Certainly nothing is cast in stone, but the current earth moving work in the lagoon area suggests something different from water will cover the area. What do you think?

Old Entrance - Golf Cart and Possibly Pedestrian Overpass
Conversations around the pool express great frustration about the new entrance to the property and concerns that management is trying to keep everyone on the property or charge them dearly to leave. Now, Greg shows us the bridge over Boulevard Nayarit. So long as pedestrians are allowed to cross to the other side, this new bridge will be greatly appreciated.
A close-up view of the overpass structure. Note the width. This may be for golf carts. Another overpass is being built for pedestrians. It looks as though fears of not being able to leave the property will be unfounded.
The entrance area at Bulevard Nayarit (The original entrance.) is fully changed. The wall has been demolished, the lagoon is dry and overpasses are under construction. It will be fun to see this area evolve.
Progress. The overpases are taking shape. Soon we will see how the pedestrian and golf cart overpasses will blend into the landscape.
Another question that is being aired has to do with Tacos Break. Has it been sold? It no longer appears in the Vidanta websites. We don't know now, but we will in the near future.
Thank you Greg. Terrific views of the changes in Nuevo Vallarta. We will all....stay tuned...
