Riviera Maya Update - The Beach Club - Lazy River - El Villorio

The McClures are at it again. This time they have shared photos of the "new" Beach Club.But first, we thought it would be helpful to see where features and buildings are in relation to each other. Here is a marked up Google Earth image of the property dated in January, 2017:
Vidanta's Riviera Maya property continues to evolve. There is considerable construction at the south end of the property beyond the Beach Club and the new buildings south. Time will tell what these areas will become.
The Beach Club at Vidanta Riviera Maya seems like a "cozy" area. It is on the beach, the pools are relatively compact and the seating seems crowded. In fact, there may be advantages to sitting on the beach and accessing the food that comes from the Beach Club.
The pools are not even close to the Grand Mayan and Mayan Palace pools. That may be because the Grand Mayan and Mayan Palace have a higher population of youngsters and they are full of pool side activity. From what we can see of the Beach Club, the environment is much more "adult". Certainly, the surroundings are more conducive to reading and quietly enjoying the sun.

Do the structures look anything like the image on the billboard that appears below?
Hard to say, but it is the only major structure under construction in the area, so we will speculate.
The Lazy River - Luxxe Jungle Suite Towers
The Lazy River appears on Google Earth in October, 2006. Nothing was done with the structure until now. It is being refurbished and will open soon. Amazing!!
