Here is another alert from a fellow Aimfairite. This group seems to be very active:

Cold call received From a Broker claiming to represent Asset Real Estate Investments in Clayton Missouri. Needing rental properties in Mexico for an upcoming November Marathon in Mexico.

Received a Proposal within 6 hours of telephone call to rent 4 weeks of our Vidanta time share for ~$39,000.00 US.

Check of Missouri State Licensing Commission found a “match” but it was not exactly correct.

A Who-is check on the Domain name showed a one year domain licence.

There were other errors in the documentation – spelling. Timeshare facts, no dates.

All communication by FAX or e-mail. No complete physical address.

Appreciate your service.

Can you believe it? $39,000 for four weeks in a Luxxe Villa? Not going to happen!!
