Moons have been given a number of names over the years. The moon we saw last night and this morning is called the "Snow Moon", and, according to the Farmers Almanac, the name came from native Americans. Evidently, they named all the moons in order to keep track of months and time.
Of course the Snow Moon would look beautiful in a snowy setting. But, then again, who wants to be in the snow when you can see this when you get up to start you day full of golf, pool side reading and beach walking?
Maybe we should start our own naming system....Beach Moon 1, Beach Moon 2....No? Not very creative? OK, you win....we will forget that idea.
